
The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) made headlines this May when they attempted a crazy record. A collaborative, unique art installation—a record-breaking painting by numbers—has drawn visitors of all ages, thanks to the UK-based science-led conservation charity.Everyone was invited to participate and learn more about animal welfare by the artwork, which was filled with vibrant colors and imaginative depictions of wild animals.During Half Term, from Saturday, May 23, to Sunday, May 31, the record attempt was made.14,024 people attended the event, surpassed the minimum threshold by nearly 1,000 individuals, setting an unparalleled record for the most contributions to a painting by numbers (various venues).The record attempt also commemorated the 200th anniversary of the Zoological Society of London, honoring the British nonprofit’s enduring contributions to science and its unwavering efforts to develop and motivate the upcoming generation of wildlife enthusiasts.The record was officially announced by Guinness World Records on June 12.
