After a deer got stuck on the ice of the South Thompson River Tuesday morning, Kamloops Fire Rescue personnel sprang into action to save the animal.To save young deer in Dallas, a neighbor called the fire department.Rather than trying by recovering on their own, the fire department advises people to call them if they found a wild animal or pet out on the ice, Kamloops Fire Rescue safety coordinator Jeff Pont told local media.
