Rebel Towing’s owner, Clint Gottinger, said that he was lately en route to complete a few tow jobs. Not far from his house in Kelvington, Saskatchewan, Canada, he saw a moose that had fallen through some ice.
Taking his sling, Gottinger tossed it around the moose’s neck. The first part of the moose to emerge from the ice was its bottom. According to Gottinger, other neighbors arrived to offer help, CBC reports.
By 5:30 p.m., he said the moose was gone. After that, Gottinger brought it home to warm up and rest. On the way, he called his wife.
After placing the moose on the stack of blankets and covering it with one of them, Gottinger let it heal. He promised to visit the moose on a regular basis. He was even allowed to scratch the moose’s cheeks and ears.Gottinger posted about his encounter on social media. He called the moose “Rebel” after his towing business.
