
A dog was safely rescued from a draining basin by Cleveland Animal Control officials and firefighters.
The dog, named Ladda, was visible in the drain as a result of the help of Cleveland firefighters and Animal Control officers who voluntarily entered the basin and waded through the water, FOX 8 reports.
Ladda was chipped when the firefighters lifted her to safety after luring her out with treats.Ladda’s owner, who Animal Control Officers said had been searching for her for the previous week, was reunited with her shortly after.
According to the media reports, no one knows how Ladda got there or how long she was in the basin, and the area is usually under lock and key.
