UN Security Council Meets to Discuss Threats to International Peace and Security
Headlines- Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan's army chief, attended high-level discussions in Iran about the resumption of talks between the US and Iran.
- In an interview with Iranian state media on Wednesday, Mohsen Rezaei, the military advisor to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, threatened that Iran would sink US ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
- The United States on Wednesday threatened to sanction buyers of Iranian oil and said it believed China would pause such purchases as Washington enforces a maritime blockade on Iran.
