The Turkish Pointer, or Tarsus Çatalburun, originated in Mersin, in Turkey’s southern Tarsus region.They have two noses or a fork-nose split. Their coat is stiff, short and flat.Their coat colors yellow and white, orange and white, wheaten and white, red and white, black and white, and tri-color.They weigh 20 to 25 kilograms (44 to 55 pounds), are 19 to 20 inches (48 to 50 cm) tall, and have an average lifespan of 12 to 14 years.If they are socialized early, they are loyal and get along well with children.
