
Ahmedabad is home to a one-of-a-kind museum with an extensive collection of kites from throughout the world. The kite museum is located in Sanskar Kendra, which is the world’s second such museum. Bhanubhai Shah was the brains behind the Kite Museum, which opened in 1985 and houses a rare collection of unique and great kites. The Museum received kites designed by Bhanubhai Shah, who also donated them. The city of kites is known as Ahmedabad.Every year, on January 13th and 14th, the International Kite Festival is held. Every day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can visit the kite museum. Mondays are not open to the public. Visiting Gujrat during the Kite Holiday, which coincides with Makar Sankranti, a major Hindu festival, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Every year in July, in Delhi, the International Mango Festival takes place (first week). The event attracts growers from all around India. Free mango samples are available to visitors. The worldwide mango festival will take place in Talkatora Stadium, and it will be organised by the Delhi Tourism Board. Cultural events such as folk songs about mangoes and children’s shows are held during the Delhi Mango Festival. In Chandigarh, there are mango festivals. Every year in June, Chandigarh hosts the Mango Festival. In Delhi, about 500 different mango types are on show, including Sirki, Jahangir, Suwarn, Neeleshwar Amrapali, Langra, Alphonso, and Langra.
