
As of June 20, 2015, the First World Hotel (Malaysia) at Resorts World Genting in Pahang Darul Makmur, Malaysia, has 7,351 operational rooms, making it the largest hotel in terms of room count.
This hotel, which is located in Genting Highlands, around 50 kilometers north of Kuala Lumpur, has managed to hold onto its title as the hotel with the most rooms worldwide.
The hotel had 6,118 rooms when it opened in 2006. The Malaysian resort regained the world record in 2015 when the second tower was completed, increasing its total number of rooms to 7,351.
There are two main towers at the three-star hotel. Up to 7,351 of these rooms are divided into different categories.Since 2015, First World Hotel has proudly held the Guinness World Record for having the most rooms of any hotel worldwide.
