The enormous installation of bouquets of flowers by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), situated in Ahmedabad, India was named the world’s largest flower arrangement by Guinness World Records on January 7, 2025. The city was once again illuminated with 11,700 live chrysanthemums as part of the yearly Ahmedabad International Flower Show.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has been holding its popular Flower Show along the Sabarmati Riverfront in the first few weeks of January since 2013. Impressive large-scale designs are on display at the exhibitions, such as sculptures and displays composed solely of flowers.
The largest floral bouquet, Unity Blossom, was created with thousands of flowers last year, setting a record and earning the global exposure.The bouquet measured 10.241 meters in height and 10.844 meters in width (33 feet 7.1 inches and 35 feet 6.9 inches, respectively). On January 3, 2025, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation unveiled the “Unity Blossom” installation at the inauguration ceremony.
