
Tanaboworn Sirikunakornkun from Thailand, also known as “Super Toom,” claimed a record for the highest altitude landing of a skydive/parachute jump when he landed 5,442 meters (17,854 feet) above sea level on Chile’s Ojos del Salado, the highest active volcano in the world.His dive on March 14 broke the record of 5,317 meters (17,444 feet), which had been in place since 2023, with help from HALO2, Atacamacopter, Chilean DGAC, and Spondylus.The 48-year-old professor and real estate developer began skydiving in 2024 and has already completed 1,250 jumps.
