Tough, hardy working dogs, Swedish Vallhunds are also referred to as Swedish Herder Spitzes.They have short double coats that are either red or grey in color. They weigh between 9 and 16 kg ( 19 to 35 pound), are of 12 to 15 inch (31 to 35 cm) height for men and 11 to 12 inch (29 to 32 cm) height for women, and have a average lifespan 15 years.Swedish Vallhunds are very friendly, lively, and loyal canines.They make ideal family pets.As active dogs, they need regular excercise.
