
Rhodesian Ridgebacks are known for their distinctive ridge of hair that grows backward along their spine. They are native to Southern Africa.They are large, powerful dogs. The distinctive “ridge” along the back of the Rhodesian Ridgeback gives it its name. They have a short, thick coat that ranges in color from a burnished crimson to a delicate flaxen.Rhodesian Ridgebacks are 24 to 27 inches ( 60 to 68 cm) tall for females , weigh 31 to 38 kg ) 70 to 85 pounds and average lifespan 12 to 15 years.They are active dogs and they form strong bonds with their families.As an active dogs, they need regular exercise.
