After popular outrage over its alleged “theft,” a well-known crocheted seagull in Llandudno,a town in Wales, that disappeared yesterday (April 9) has been relocated. To raise awareness of the charity WAY Widowed And Young, which provides assistance for people who have lost a partner before turning fifty-one, Jodie Wilson designed the seagull, attached to a post box in the town.
According to media reports, Llandudno is a town famous for its seagulls and the trouble they sometimes create. That all changed on April 9, though, when the bird vanished out of thin air, raising suspicions that the pricey sculpture had been stolen.Fortunately, it has been found at a bar in town and will be reattached later.
