A bear strolling the backyard patio of Katie Cole’s children’s swimming pool in the vicinity of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, USA.Although the kiddie pool is actually used as a dog pool for her own four-legged pets, Katie told the local TV station KDVR that she was happy the bear had a chance to “swim” and that she felt bad for the bears because of how hot and dry it is.According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials, bear sightings have risen as a result of the drought because there is less natural food available, which forces the animals to move around in search of additional sources.
