A diner at a Singaporean restaurant reported that his dinner had become a torturous experience after the chopsticks the restaurant had provided suddenly shattered in his mouth.The customer found his teeth loose while trying to halt the bleeding.The incident occurred on May 12 at 2 PM at a hotpot restaurant close to the Chinatown MRT station.
Koh Hui Koon, 63 and his wife cut their meal and asked the restaurant to pay for his hospital bills.He told Shin Min Daily that he had already spent a lot of money on dental implants and that he didn’t have many healthy teeth left.He also mentioned that he had recently suffered damage to another tooth, which may cost anywhere from $4,000 to $5,000 to fix.
