The Cirneco dell’Etna dog is medium sized indigenous to the Mediterranean island of Sicily, Italy.They have a light build, a square body, and fine hair.Their coats are either reddish or fawn in color. Their ears are large, erect, and high-set.Male height is 18 to 20 inches (45 to 50 cm) , female height is 17 to 20 inches (43 to 50 cm), average weight is 9 to 11 kg (22 to 26 pounds) for men and 8 to 9 kg (18 to 22 pounds) for women and average lifespan is 12 to 14 years.The Cirneco dell’Etnas are gentle, affectionate, and intelligent.They have a strong bond with their families and get along well with children in general.
