
The medium-sized Austrian Black and Tan Hound breed developed in Austria and has a distinctive build, drooping ears, and brown eyes.The Austrian Black and Tan Hound is an expert hunter and tracker, mostly used for locating injured wildlife in high altitudes.They weigh between 15 to 22 kg (35 and 50 pounds) and are between 19 and 22 inches ( 48 to 55 cm) tall, average lifespan 12 to 15 years.Their coat is smooth, dense, and shiny.The coat has brown patterns and is black in color.They have fawn or tan marks around their eyes.They are energetic active and loving. They can be ideal companion dogs.
