Australian Koolies are midium sized Australian herding dog breed.They have well-muscled bodies and are powerful, nimble dogs.They have double coats: a close, flat outer coat and a short, dense, undercoat.Solid black, red or chocolate, black and white, red and white, and tri-colored solid red or black with brown points and white patterns are among their colors.They are between 14 to 22 kgs (33 and 49 pounds) in weight, 12 to 24 inches ( 30 to 60 cm) tall, and have an average lifespan of 12 to 15.They are intelligent, loyal, and when they are property socialized, they are tolerant of other pets and patient with children.They are outstanding watchdogs.They require mental stimulation and regular exercise because they are very energetic dogs.
