These are some of the reactions after American state of Tennessee’s Governor Bill Haslam granted clemency to Cyntoia Brown on Monday( January 7) who had been serving life sentence but her parole was sanctioned on August 7 last year after spending long 15 years( from the day she was first arrested).
Cyntoia said as a sex trafficking victim she committed the crime in self defense killing 43 year old Johnny Allen in 2004.
