A native dog breed of the Philippines, the Aspin is also known as “Asong Pinoy.”The coat colors of this medium-sized dog breed include brown, black, white, and mixes of these.
Aspins are loyal, energetic, and get along well with children. They are excellent watchdogs because they are alert and vigilant. Aspins weigh between 12 and 22 inches (30 to 55 cm) , weigh between 9 and 20 kg ( 19 to 44 pounds) , and average lifespan 12 to 15 years.
Aspins are low maintainance dogs.So occasional grooming is enough for them. As the breed is active so regular excercise or walking is necessary for them.
