After a simple surgery went horribly wrong, putting her in an induced coma and on life support, an woman from Perth, Australia is battling for her life in a Vietnamese hospital. Before to a planned cosmetic surgery, Chloe Mowday traveled to Vietnam in November with her husband and three children to explore the popular tourist destination.

After that, she had surgery on her nose and eyelids at a local hospital. However, within hours of the surgery, her organs shut down, and paramedics had to revive her after she died on the way to the hospital, Perth Now reports.

Rod, Chloe Mowday’s brother, told the media that the 31-year-old is still in serious condition and cannot breathe or speak on her own, and the family is still unaware of what caused the organs to shut down.
