On August 6, a social media user shared a security camera footage of a mentally disturbed man driving, parking, and stealing a large quantity of underwear while wearing a mask, shorts, a patterned shirt, and a baseball cap hiding his face, Channel 7 News, Thailand reports. The incident happened at a house in Moo 2, Ban Khok Tayo, Tambon Sap Samothod, Amphoe Bueng Sam Phan, Province of Phetchabun, Thailand.The victim, Ms. Kat, 31, who also released the video, recently filed a police report at Bueng Sam Phan Police Station, requesting that the police look into and prosecute the culprit because she believes the crime poses a threat to women and society. She said that when she went to pick up her drying clothing at around 11:00 PM on August 5, the complete set of underwear was gone. The CCTV footage was then reviewed by her. She didn’t anticipate a break-in like this, even though the cameras had first set off a warning. She noticed the man stealing a large number of panties after watching the video, but she is unsure of his identity. She added that on August 3rd, when she was doing laundry, a suspicious-looking car that resembled the one driven by the man in question slowed down, looked around her house, and then drove off.
