Dan Ryan of United States has donated the Red Cross more than 30 gallons (113.562 liters) of blood, which is the same as 344 Coca-Cola cans. On June 24, 2025, he set a record for the most whole blood donated (male) in Malta, New York, USA, due to his steady contributions.In 1980, Dan donated blood for the first time after being convinced to do so by his late brother. He told Guiness World Records, “My brother, who was a regular donor, and I worked in the same building and when they had a blood drive, he asked me to give it a try and explained how it helps others and that someday I may be one of those in need.”
