
Africa’s indegious dogs, known as Africanis, are originated in South Africa. The dog’s name, Africanis, combines the Latin word for dog, Canis, with the word Africa. Thus, the dog’s name means to an African dog. This medium-sized dog breed has a muscular body. Coat colors include tan, brindle, black, and white are among the varity of colors available for their coat. The coat of Africanis dogs is smooth and glossy, requiring little maintenance.They weigh between 24 to 44 kg (55 and 100 pounds), are 29 to 34 ( 73 to 86 cm) inches tall, and average lifespan of 10 to 12 years. They get along well with kids and can be ideal family pets.
