A 725 kg (1,600-pound) horse that got stuck in a Forsyth County creek bed on August 4 was set free by the Forsyth County Fire Department and Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services of Georgia, United States.According to FOX 5 Atlanta, after finding their 1,600-pound horse stuck in a creek at the back of their property, a horse owner contacted for help on Tuesday.For more than five hours, crews from the Cherokee County and Forsyth County fire departments tested multiple strategies to rescue the animal.In the end, a veterinarian on the scene helped first responders in hoisting the horse to its feet using Cherokee County’s large animal tripod and harness.The horse, along with its owner and the veterinarian, walked back home after its legs regained their feeling.
