
Eh Hausl, was constructed in 1728. With barely 53 meters of floor space, it was the smallest hotel in the world until 2022, according to the Guinness World Record. The building is only 2.5 meters wide overall.
The Eh’Ḥusl Hotel was officially declared as the world’s smallest hotel in 2008 by Guinness World Records until 2022.
The building, which is located in Amberg, Germany, was constructed in a small space in 1728 since, at the time, only married couples were permitted to own land.
Marina Schreiner owns Eh’Ḥusl, which in English means “wedding house.”According to an old legend passed down by the town’s residents, those who stay here will live happily ever after and never get divorced.
But, recognized by Guiness World Records on April 18, 2023, Trafo-Häuschen is the current title holder of World’s smallest hotel, measuring 17.85 meter which is located in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.It was opened on June 25, 2022.
