The Serbian Hound is a strong, medium-sized dog. The breed usually has a short, thick coat that is either red and tan or black and brown. The tail is typically carried in a saber-like curve, and the ears are long and drooping.
A Serbian Hound’s average height ranges from 18 to 22 inches ( 45 to 55 cm) for males and from 17 to 20 inches for females. A female Serbian Hound weighs between 14 to 19 kg (33 and 44 pounds), while a male weighs between 19 to 24 kg (44 and 55 pounds), average lifespan 12 to 14 years.
Serbian Hounds are loyal and affectionate dog breed. They are also excellent watch dogs They develop strong bond with their owners.
