
In memory of his father’s “boundless personality,” a man from North Yorkshire is planning to run over 800 kilometers.
Accrding to the local media,23-year-old Archie Whitfield lost his father, Dave, to a brain tumor when he was just 58 years old. Dave was a Thirsk native who served as a councillor and teacher in the Sowerby and Topcliffe division of North Yorkshire, UK. The 20 Premier League football stadiums will host a series of ultramarathons between each match in remembrance of Archie and to raise money for The Brain Charity.
Archie, a former York City FC young football player, has been practising on his running skills by running thirty miles from Thirsk to the LNER Community Stadium in Monks Cross.
