
On March 21, a dog in a deep cave on Handys Bend Road in Jessamines County, Kentucky, United States, was rescued by members of the Jessamine County Fire District.
According to the district, a rescuer swiftly made contact with the dog at a height of 35 to 40 feet. The rope system was then used, according to the crew, to lift the dog to safety, WNKY reports.
The district said that neither the dog nor any of the crews appeared to be injured.
