Headlines- Hours after the Gulf country reported a second round of Iranian missile and drone attacks, Iran on Tuesday denied attacking the United Arab Emirates in recent days.
- In an attempt to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the United States is now engaged in a "defensive" operation, according to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who told reporters at the White House that operation Epic Fury has ended.
- Iran proposed a new system known as the "Persian Gulf Strait Authority" in an attempt to "formalize" the mechanism that let traffic to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
- A United Nations resolution has been submitted by the United States and its Gulf allies, threatening Iran with penalties or other actions if it doesn't stop attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz, cease enforcing "illegal tolls," and reveal the locations of all mines to permit freedom of navigation.
- Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, Israel's military chief, declared on Tuesday that the country was ready to react "with force" to any Iranian attack.
