It’s the fact that Indians are much more polarized than they were in ten or fifteen years ago. The divisions between right winger and so-called liberals on fundamental political issues. In recent years, these gaps have grown even larger.People are becoming more extreme in their ideological leanings.Rigid ideological difference makes it really difficult to express a view independently.Even veteran journalists are trolled by netizens .If some one oppose government policies he or she may be termed as ‘Traitor’ or ready to hear ‘go to Pakistan’ phrase.Similarly, Right wingers also shamed by being openly ‘mocked’. It’s a reality and there is no reason to think it is going away any time soon.Even media makes us more polarized then we really are.
