A poor vendor in Nigeria’s Lagos State’s Mushin neighborhood, on Friday Aloh is in dire need of financial support to help with hospital expenses after his wife gave birth to triplets at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Idi-Araba on Tuesday. Already, they have twins.
The upset father told Nigerian newspaper Punch that the triplets’ arrival had left his family’s future looking bleak and uncertain.
Aloh pleaded with wealthy Nigerians for financial support, claiming that the countries economic crisis had ruined his business and made it impossible to support their three children, let alone the three more his wife gave birth to on Tuesday.
He said the family was worried about how long they would have to stay at the hospital, but he had already spent all of his money and the hospital had not yet provided them the bills.
